چکیده

In this study, a surface plasmon resonance based on Mach–Zehnder interferometer is produced by combining two normal Single mode fibers with Photonic Crystal Fiber SMF-PCF-SMF for measuring the refractive index (RI) ion toxic metal lead. center of sensor, small portion (4 cm) PCF created, and after process tapering complete, gold deposited thickness about (40 nm). A photonic crystal fiber's gold-coated core receives deposit lead ions. The computed signal to noise ratio (SNR), sensitivity (S), resolution (R), figures merit (FOM): SNR 0.18, Sensitivity 11.11 m/RIU, Resolution 1.7 × $${10}^{-4}$$ , FOM 22.87.

Antibody Conjugated Gold Nanoparticles for Detection of Small Amounts of Antigen Based on Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Spectra

In this paper, a fast and sensitive localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) based biosensor was developed and the optimization of gold – antibody conjugates through investigation of different parameters were performed. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) with a size of ~20 nm were synthesized via chemical reduction of HAuCl4 with trisodium citrate as reducing and stabilizing agent. The impacts of pH ...

Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensing Detection of Mercury and Lead Ions Based on Conducting Polymer Composite

A new sensing area for a sensor based on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) was fabricated to detect trace amounts of mercury and lead ions. The gold surface used for SPR measurements were modified with polypyrrole-chitosan (PPy-CHI) conducting polymer composite. The polymer layer was deposited on the gold surface by electrodeposition. This optical sensor was used for monitoring toxic metal ions w...

Effect of Fe3O4 Magnetic Nanoparticle Concentration on the Signal of Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Spectroscopy

Effect of Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticle concentration on the signal of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) spectra has been successfully observed. The Fe3O4 nanoparticles with a particle size of about 10.5 ± 0.2 nm were used as active materials to increase the SPR response. X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern showed that Fe3O4 nanoparticles have a high degree of crystallinity with spinel structure. The S...
